Effective January 1, 2024, certain entities will now be required to report their company’s Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) directly to FinCEN. FinCEN has released new resources for filers to help with reporting their BOI to FinCEN.

FinCEN also released two informational videos. All resources can be found on FinCEN’s website here. CCI suggests sharing this information with your BSA team. These resources may be helpful to deliver to bank customers who will now have to follow the BOI reporting rule.
