OFAC has launched a new online ‘reconsideration portal’ where requests to be removed from an OFAC sanctions list can be submitted. The portal is designed to streamline the delisting process by requiring petitioners to submit all necessary information and supporting documentation with their request. The new portal is available now.

OFAC has updated the related Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), including revisions to the guidance on requesting removal from a sanctions list. In addition, OFAC added a new FAQ explaining its process for denying reconsideration requests.
