NACHA has created an industry resource, the ACH Contact Registry, to help connect financial institutions
regarding ACH operations, exceptions, and risk management. To make sure all financial institutions
participate, NACHA has released a rule, effective July 1, 2020, requiring the registration of contact
information by all financial institutions that participate in the ACH Network.

Under the rule, all RDFIs and ODFIs are required to register contact information with NACHA
and implement procedures to keep that information up to date. Beginning July 1, 2020, financial
institutions must begin submitting their contact information and must have it submitted by October 30,
2020.
